Our practice exercises great care in treating our adolescent patients. We take our time in order to get to know them and make them feel comfortable. We encourage their many questions and provide education about their growing and changing bodies, including sex education. We treat this unique population with skill and respect.

We find that our adolescent patients find a certain comfort in the relatability and continuity our practice provides. Often they have been our patients since infancy. We frequently treat their parents, which gives us important insight into their family medical history and informs our work.

We respect the confidentiality of our adolescent patients as appropriate and work with parents to find the best solutions to meet their medical needs.
